Incredible venue with multiple spaces for you to hand-pick your dream day. The real asset however is Marta (the owner). She is incredible! Marta was so helpful, thoughtful, enthusiastic, flexible and a very talented production manager. You do not need any other wedding planner to manage your day and make you feel so special. We are both British, living in London and Marta spoke and emailed in English when communicating with us which really helped us out. She also only had 3 months to plan our wedding, due to our previous planner deserting us and was able to handle most of our requests and where she wasn’t (which wasn’t often) she provided us with excellent alternatives.

The house is stunning and we would recommend staying on-site. We had 18 adults and 1 2-year-old child staying and every guest, even the 2-year-old, was blown away by the beauty of the house. The pool is a saltwater pool which is lovely and refreshing. We stayed from Friday – Monday and Marta was flexible with check-in and check-out times. You do have to remove all your own rubbish from the house if you stay, however, there are local bins which Marta and her team can direct you to.

Our wedding was in June and so it was about 30 degrees Celsius. Therefore, we kicked off proceedings at 4 pm and guests stayed until 4 am. We started in the forest area for our ceremony with Marta’s catering contacts, Sauleda and Abanik. The latter provided white folding chairs, Marta did the flower arrangements and Sauleda served cold champagne and lager. Our audio equipment was provided by Carlos Marchante and was top quality. The piano did break however but his team were able to rectify this on-site.

Our reception was around the pool with Marta’s chill-out equipment, and a fantastic performer called Patrick Sings, from Madrid. Sauleda served paella, and cheeses and had a ham cutter come and slice ham in front of the guests adding to the fantastic atmosphere. Sauleda assigned a server to us directly so we were offered food and drink whilst having photos taken and mingling with our guests which was a really special and thoughtful touch. We felt really looked after!

Our dinner and speeches were in the barn. Sauleda’s service was excellent. We opted for a mixed grill for our mains which gave the guests a chance to leave their tables and collect their choice of food from outside on the grass.

Our party was then held around the pool area for which Marta and her team catered an open bar. She was fantastic and even learnt (on the night) how to make Baby Guinness for us. We tried our best to drink the bar dry but Marta was well ahead of us and nothing ran out. They even brought in a beer tap for our guests.

The venue is near a town called Arbucies which itself is beautiful and on the border of the Montseny National Park. There are limited taxis in the area so factor this in when arranging your wedding. Marta arranged coaches for our guests so that they were able to get there and back.

10/10 for the venue, location and wedding planning. The logistics to get guests to the venue are challenging but definitely not insurmountable and Marta has fantastic contacts in the area to make the whole thing a breeze for you. Marta also provided our flowers for the ceremony and was flexible to allow Annie’s mum, who is also a florist, to get involved and make the bouquets and add some of her own styling which again showed Marta's complete flexibility to ensure we had what we wanted.

We would have our wedding here over and over and over again and can’t wait to return to celebrate anniversaries in the future! Muchas gracias Marta!!
