From the moment we started discussing wedding options with Victoria she was most helpful and I knew I could entrust in her to see my vision of our special day from afar.
We arranged a visit to Casa Monte Cristo so we could see the wedding venue and accommodation options and although it was a cooler wet March day we knew it was the place we wanted to get married as the venue still looked beautiful and the accommodation was exactly what I was looking for.

I really liked having the option of all of our guests staying onsite if they wanted to. When our guests arrived on the Thursday they were all blown away with the accommodation and facilities especially the swimming pools. We hired CMC Seis, CMC Cinco, CMC IV, CMC Tres and the cottage - all were equally as beautiful.

We chose to have our ceremony and welcome drink at CMC Tres and reception at CMC Cinco/CMC Seis and it was very easy for guests to walk from one to the other and for any guests that were struggling in heels or on the cobbles/mobility issues Victoria helped them over with the golf buggy.

The service at CMC Tres was beautiful and the weather was fabulous so it really made that sea view extra special. Helen the celebrant was amazing and created the perfect ceremony. Grant was especially impressed as it was the part he was nervous about the most and he really enjoyed it.
Victoria then escorted Grant and I down to the Wedding Land via golf buggy ready for the reception entrance and made us feel really at ease. She had organised for everyone to be waiting with drinks in hand.

The rest of the day was all organised perfectly by Victoria from start to finish the set up with the DJs (Algarve DJ hire) was brilliant and they really did play the best songs from my playlist to get the dance floor going. The free flowing drinks were also a plus.

Lastly how could I forget the food this was an absolute highlight for all of us. Grant and I love our food so knew we wanted this to be a real centre point for our wedding and it did not disappoint.
The amount of people that said it was the best wedding food they have ever had and in fact the best wedding was music to our ears.

In terms of location it was so easy to book taxis via Bolt into Lagos itself for around 5€.

We will never forget our special day and wish we could do it all over again, thanks Victoria and team we couldn’t have done it without you!

My husband and I found CMC from an internet hunt, and set up a call with the CMC team shortly after.
Victoria was who we met with and our point of contact from that day forward. After video meeting with Victoria, we knew this was the place due to her ability to answer all of our questions (we had a long list) with such poise and kindness.

We were definitely nervous at first due to being in America and booking a venue for the most important day of our lives site unseen. Victoria reassured us and made us so confident in our process.

Fast forward through all of the meticulous planning and constant communication from Victoria - which brings us to the best weekend of our lives!!
We arrived the Thursday before our wedding along with the rest of our guests (CMC has enough space for all of your wedding guests to stay on property too!!) to be so taken back with the beauty of the venue.
Photos and videos do no justice to how stunning the properties are. Not to mention, the location is a quick ten minute drive or Uber to the beaches and Lagos!

On Friday CMC hosted our welcome dinner - which provided AMAZING pizza and a beautiful setting.
Our wedding day went by without a single issue (the CMC team handled any and all things leaving us with no worries), and more beautiful than we could imagine.

Victoria coordinated our florals, and decor - exceeding our expectations completely. Steve cooked the tastiest wedding food we’ve ever had, and all of our wedding guests agreed!! I can’t thank the CMC team enough for the absolutely perfect day!!

Anyone thinking of booking this venue for a wedding - run do not walk to get your wedding scheduled!!
You will have the most perfect day, with the most amazing team taking care of you every single step of the way. Not only did our wedding events come out perfect all of our guests had the most amazing weekend too!! We cannot recommend this venue enough - especially for those looking for their fairytale wedding venue!

The food, where do we start.... our guests commented this was the best wedding buffet they have ever had.
Steve can tell you where every locally sourced product came from along with the ingredients which is great for anyone with allergies and intolerances. All i can say no one will be left hungry.

The flexible villa set up worked perfectly for our wedding party of 30. The luxury villas are finished to the highest quality, contained everything you could possibly need and provided lots of space and safe grounds for everyone in the family. It's been nearly 2 weeks since we arrived at the most incredible Wedding Venue for our 4 day celebrations.

Casa Monte Cristo In Lagos simply blew us away from start to finish. Victoria & Steve and their team Deliver above all expectations on every level.
Not only are the Villas Beautiful, clean & well presented inside and out, the planning and preparation that goes into their events is outstanding!

We set our trust in Victoria 20 months in advance when booking our venue... and she has been there every step of the way to help and guide! She organises everything with you, from photographer and florist recommendations, helping plan your run of the day (week), DJ & music Collaboration, and all the extra events too .. and all executed to perfection.

We booked 3 Villas, Tres, Cinco & Seis & had 40 guests.
We had a welcome Pizza Party the day before the wedding at our Villa... Tres Villa, and watched that afternoon as the gardens were transformed, we had breakfast delivered to our guest's Villas on the morning of the Wedding, Our Wedding Day & Drinks Reception at Tres Villa, & then the BBQ and Party at Wedding Land, (a fabulous purpose build Marquee area) the next morning we had a late Brunch for everyone in the Marquee too!

The food was INSANE! Steve is a genius, the BBQ is an event in itself, they catered for all our guests with no questions asked and some of them were a little tricky too! Everyone raved about the food and we all ate like Kings and Queens for the week!

Victoria is just the most amazing person, and she was there every step of the way & on the day too! She knew exactly what we needed and we didn't need to ask, she was always just there when we needed her, taking it all in and noticing the small things, but so relaxed it felt like she was part of our family! Now I'm a Virgo, I love to plan, im a list maker, I love sharpies and I love to have everything perfect and I put my heart and soul into the planning of our wedding.... my trust with Victoria there, I didn't have to worry.... Everything was timed to perfection, everything went so smoothly and we have a 2 year old!!

The whole team were incredible with our little boy too! Nothing was too much trouble! We could not have asked for a more perfect venue and hosts for our Wedding, and we WILL be back to celebrate future anniversaries! All of our friends and family want to come back too!

What made our perfect wedding was having All of our Family & Friends fly out to join us ... this was truly so special... but none of this could have been possible if we hadn't have found Casa Monte Cristo!

We recently hosted our wedding at Casa Monte Cristo, and I cannot express how perfect everything was! From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking setting that created the perfect atmosphere for our special day.

The staff were phenomenal-friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We felt completely taken care of, and their attention to detail made everything feel effortless.

The decor and ambiance of the venue were gorgeous, making the day feel like a dream. Every corner of the venue was beautifully arranged, and the setting made for the most beautiful backdrop for photos.

The food and drink were incredible, especially the Pizza Party on Sunday! Our guests raved about the catering, and we couldn't have been happier with the delicious variety that was offered.

In terms of planning and organisation, everything was spot on. The team at Casa Monte Cristo made the whole process feel calm and easy, which is something every couple hopes for on their wedding day! From the planning stages to the actual event, everything was seamless.

We particularly loved how painless and relaxed the entire day felt. Every aspect was handled so professionally, allowing us to simply enjoy our day without a worry.

We would 1000% recommend Casa Monte Cristo to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Portugal. It truly made our day unforgettable, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding everything we dreamed it would be!

Our wedding was everything and more that we had dreamt of - Casa Monte Cristo exceeded our expectations in all elements.

The accommodation itself was stunning, we had CMC Tre, Cinco, Seis and the 5 apartments.
Each venue was pristine, very well maintained and all had beautiful outdoor spaces and pools.
Us and our guests were all blown away and over the 4 nights we made some of the most special memories together.

As for Victoria and the CMC staff, they were incredible! No request was too big for them SO efficient and such friendly faces.

Victoria’s level of communication is just insane, I don’t know how someone can be so on it whilst also running a whole team of staff and all the villas! But she does it so so well. She made us feel so welcomed and completely at home in our little corner of luxury in the gorgeous Portuguese hills!

Then the wedding day! Victoria, Steve and the team handled everything. We really didn’t lift a finger when it came to setting up or packing away. They got everything so spot on, it really was our vision brought to life. It just went so smoothly for the whole day and they made everyone feel so comfortable and by them taking care of everything, allowed us all to soak up every single second.

The drinks were endlessly flowing and the food was SO GOOD! Steve is amazing at what he does and makes it look so appealing on his outside open cooker. Our guests sang his praises and said it was the best wedding food they’ve had!

We all had the best day from start to finish, and the evening party was amazing.
We just can’t sing Casa Monte Cristo’s praises enough.
If you are thinking of booking them for your wedding, just do it! We feel so lucky to have been able to celebrate in luxury at CMC and will definitely try to go again in the future for a holiday

What can I say about this amazing venue, Victoria, Steve and their amazing team.

We had our wedding there in August this year and Victoria and her team did everything and more to make our special day magical and our stay at Casa Monte Cristo as comfortable as possible.

The little touches with a box of gifts for us and bottles of Prosecco to celebrate our special day were such a great touch.

Victoria was so helpful and attentive in particular getting my ideas that I only had pictures of and implementing them into our wedding day. Always available through email leading up to the big day.

Tables were decorated beautifully and the cake was how I imagined it to be.
Little touches such as the hydration station and games corner made everyone feel so relaxed.

Not forgetting the BBQ and the rest of the food, it was so delicious and mini cakes at the end of dinner were to die for.
Food plays such an important part at any wedding and it was simply amazing.

The rooms were clean, with towels for pool and personal use. Each room had its own bathroom. Good size pool with enough sun loungers for all our guests. Personals BBQ, large tables both in and out, views of the sunset are just beautiful from the Villa’s and the wedding venue.

Wish we could do it all over again as we all had such an amazing time there and our friends and family haven’t stopped talking about it.

We had our wedding here in August and the whole week couldn’t have been any better.we had our wedding in between Cinco and Sies and stayed in both the villas. The villas were modern clean and spacious, the layout of the rooms and the outside was perfect
Couldn’t thank Victoria, Steve and the team anymore for making the week run so smoothly, it was organized so we could relax the week and morning of our wedding without any worry. All our request were met without hesitation and pointed us in the right direction for our ideas.

The guest were blow away with the venue, food and service.
We had a welcome pizza night and brunch the day after the wedding and the food and service was perfect I truly couldn’t fault anything. And would recommend people booking for a wedding or even to use the villas.

The location is perfect being just a 10 minute Uber from Luz or Lagos. And been just outside for it to be the perfect location.
